About Hunter Nursing

Hunter Nursing commenced operations in 1983 as a small home nursing service providing care to the Hunter community. It's growth has been testimony to the continuing high standards of service and development of service delivery.

Accreditation
Hunter Nursing is the leading and only private nursing agency in the Hunter region to receive accreditation to health industry standards. HNA first achieved accreditation in 1999 with Quality Management Services and continues to maintain its accredited status with reviews being conducted on a three yearly basis.

Awards
In 2002 it won the inaugural and prestigious Premium Discount Scheme award from WorkCover, N.S.W.

In 2005, HNA Nursing Director Margaret Scott, was awarded the Order of Australia Medal at the Australia Day Honours for development of nursing services, to Public and Private health in the Hunter region.
